i need help i have 2 take care of my chihuahua by myself.

I just got mine today. I am hoping for any helpful tips in taking care of this baby~~

I'm going to be a first time chihuahua dog owner... and i have a choice between a male or a female...from your experience which is better to take care of?
by the way, this are pups..only 6wks old.....any special foods and how old do they have to be to be spayed?

My niece recently got a chihuahua. I'd really like her to have the necessary info to be able to raise it and care for it well. I doubt I can get her to read a book on it and I'm not around much to give verbal advice. Does anyone know of free, online, preferably graphically oriented info about Chihuahua care?

Just to clarify this is not my dog, its my friends. Im trying to help out beacuse I know its too young for it to be away from its mother-- telling me this doesn't do ANYTHING for the pup.

I am in the process of buying a chihuahua, i want to take care of him the best i can.
